Hanmer Springs has its own Four Square Supermarket and milk can be delivered to each camp if ordered in advance. Catering packages to fit with your budget can also be arranged.

Superb Accommodation

Excellent group accommodation with purpose built venues in stunning locations away from the village centre.

The two main venues for school camps in Hanmer Springs:
Hanmer Forest Camp  -  An ideal location for a school camp 2.7 kms from the village on Jollies Pass Road. A variety of accommodation is available for groups of all sizes. Cabins, tent sites and a self contained lodge are available.

Alpine Adventure Tourist Park. - A peaceful location on Jacks Pass Road 2.5 kms form the village, offering  accommodation for up to 40  in the self contained Bell Bird Lodge.

Hanmer Springs Forest Camp

Kakapo Lodge YHA  - offers accommodation for school groups of up to 30 pupils. Situated in the heart of Hanmer Village next to the Thermal Pools.

The are heaps of opportunities for curriculum based activities, eg. town studies and  cemetery studies.
