Rangiora High School Mt Bike Course
Last week 23 students from Rangiora High School took part in a timed race on the Hanmer 12 hour bike race route to set against achievement standards. Two days were spent in Hanmer on race training and bike maintenance leading up to the final timed event. The group were split into two taking their turn in marshalling the event too.
The winning time was 22 mins 14 seconds for Matt Summerfield . Eight students who completed the course achieved excellence.
Hopefully we will see some of these riders back in Hanmer to compete in the schools challenge section of the 4 hr Mountain Bike Race. 4 hour event
